Blur a license plate on your phone (iPhone and Android)
Blur the plate in a photo straight from your phone's camera roll, HEIC included, and share it to Marketplace or WhatsApp without installing an app.
No app needed
The editor runs in the phone's browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing to grant access to your whole camera roll. Open the site in Safari or Chrome, tap Upload photos, pick the shots, and the license plate in each is found and blurred on the spot. The result saves back to your photos like any other download.
It works on iPhone and Android alike, on Wi-Fi or mobile data; a typical phone photo uploads in a second or two.
HEIC from an iPhone
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. You do not need to change the camera setting or convert anything: HEIC files are accepted as they are, converted in your browser before upload, and the blurred export comes back as a JPG that every marketplace, chat app and email client opens.
If you prefer, the export format can be switched to PNG or WebP in the download menu. The resolution stays the same as the original.
Checking the result on a small screen
Pinch to zoom on the preview and make sure the whole plate is covered, including a second plate on a towbar or a dealer plate in the rear window. If one is missed, draw a region over it with your finger; it is blurred like the detected one.
The number plate should be unreadable at any zoom level; if you can still make out characters, increase the strength or switch to the pixelated or solid style.
Sharing to a listing or a chat
Download the photo, then share it from your photos app to Marketplace, WhatsApp or the listing site as usual. Only the blurred export leaves your phone; the original stays in your camera roll with the plate intact for your own records.
Location data is stripped from the export, so the photo does not reveal where it was taken even if the app you share it through keeps metadata.
