Questions
Does it find every plate?
Front and rear plates on cars, vans, bikes and trucks, at normal photo angles, in daylight or flash. A plate seen almost edge-on or behind glare can be missed; draw a region over it by hand and it is blurred like the rest.
Is my photo stored?
No. Your browser uploads the image straight to private storage, the blurred export is written next to it, and both are deleted automatically within an hour. There are no accounts and nothing is tied to you.
Which formats and sizes?
JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC straight from an iPhone. Exports are JPG by default, with PNG and WebP as options, at the original resolution. Location and camera data are stripped from every export.
Can I blur more than the plate?
You can draw extra regions over anything else in the photo, choose a pixelated or solid style, or cover the plate with a sticker. Automatic detection on this site is for license plates only.
